I left the shop to get an aquarium to set him up and my boss calls and sez there is another out there trying to get in. I go back and pick the second one up. Both boys and I am wondering if there are anymore, lol.

Two days later a little female is on the side of our shop freezing cold and very frightened, so I pick her up and place her in the aquarium with her brothers. she isn't as friendly as her brothers and she refused to take the bottle. The boys are getting a bottle about 5 times a day but she is already eating the fresh veggies I have in the tank.

April 9,02

Yesterday (April 10,02) I tried to release the two remaining squirrels, Willie and his sister. She took off like a bat outta hell and he stuck around, lol. He is a momma's boy since he was a bottle baby so he wasn't as eager to leave as his much wilder sister was.

I went to check on Willie just before it got dark and he was no where to be seen. He was contemplating going much higher in the tree so I hope he is under cover and not too afraid out there his first night on his own. I have his tank outside so he can come back to it if he needs too.

April 14,02

Willie is diggin' being a wild creature now. He has a maze of three very tall cedar trees and a huge oak that is his world now. He comes down to see me when I call him and goes back up to sleep and play and do his squirrel stuff. I leave seed and food out for him and a water tray because he is still a bit young to find food totally on his own yet. I'm loving having him around out there, its pretty cool to have a wild squirrel come down and jump on your head, lol.
