Cream/Fawn Giant

Fawn/Cream color is not an acceptable color according to the official breed standard. While we all understand genetic accidents happen, that does not mean one should deliberately be breeding these colors and selling them as "rare".

That is a very typical tactic of most puppy mills and back yard breeders who have no business breeding dogs in the first place. A genetic accident occurs and instead of doing the right thing by spaying/neutering the puppies they sell them as "rare". As if that isn't bad enough, they continue to breed the sire and dam that they know will produce these off colors so they can make even more money selling the "rare" colors. It all boils down to money at this point and that is why they continue to breed totally against the standard.

This is no diff than those "rare" white boxers, dobes and shepherds. Just because there is a demand for it, does not make it right or an asset to the breed.
